5 Self-love Tips to Practice

We are aware of how loving ourselves is very important. But, the question that often arises in people’s minds, including you is how to love yourself.

In this post, I’ll be telling you some self-love tips you should practice because at the end of the day, you only have yourself and you should love yourself, conquerors.

1 Stop comparison

Most times, consciously or unconsciously we fall into the bandwagon of people who constantly compares ourselves we others. Comparing ourselves can give us reasons to improve, but when it is done negatively it can be dangerous.

Appreciate yourself, the journey you are on, the efforts you put in, etc. As it is popularly said “compete with the previous version of yourself.

2 Don’t beat yourself up

We often beat ourselves up for the mistakes we made, past failures, what we failed to achieve, etc. So, refuse to beat yourself up.

I know that growth comes with the pressure to succeed, to be perfect, you exert yourself unnecessarily. But, remember that you are human conquerors.

 3 Learn to say no

Sometimes self-love takes the form of you saying no to certain demands, errands, tasks, etc when you have to. Saying no when necessary and important is a gift you give yourself. 

Know how you spend your time, focus on what adds value to yourself, don’t over-expend yourself.

4 Trust yourself

Don’t ever get to the point where you try to over-validate your decisions or things concerning you with others. I am not saying you should not ask for the opinion of others. But, learn to be in charge of your life.

Trust that your decision is good, trust that what you are doing is right, trust your intuition conquerors.

5 Love your body

Don’t let anyone convince you that you are not beautiful or handsome. Know that you were beautifully created. You should not change your body because someone else thinks you should do so.

Learn your body, love every part of yourself including the flaws you may think you have Conquerors.
